Below Mogote: LOTS of bugs on the water. HUGE salmon flies, stoneflies, Green and Gray drakes, Spinners, cadis, yellow sallies, midges. Choose your weapon. Chubby Chernobyl stone fly lifted a lot of fish, be prepared for a hard take with this fly and be prepared to use 3-4x with these, or fish will break off. Green drakes also work well. Be patient look for rising fish to cast to, they are there! don’t just walk on by because you don’t see them right away.

River rose from 560 on Thursday to 705 today, July 2.

Have fun! wear sunscreen and bug goop!
